1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the Montreal SEO website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Services

Montreal SEO provides search engine optimization (SEO) services, including but not limited to:

  • Keyword research and strategy
  • On-page optimization
  • Link building
  • Local SEO
  • Content strategy
  • Technical SEO

The specific services provided will be outlined in a separate service agreement or proposal.

3. Client Responsibilities

As a client, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information necessary for the delivery of services
  • Grant necessary access to your website, analytics, and other relevant platforms
  • Review and approve deliverables in a timely manner
  • Pay for services according to the agreed-upon payment terms
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

4. Payment Terms

Payment terms will be specified in your service agreement. Unless otherwise stated:

  • Invoices are due within 30 days of receipt
  • Late payments may incur interest charges
  • Services may be suspended for non-payment

5. Intellectual Property

All content, strategies, and materials created by Montreal SEO remain our intellectual property until full payment is received. Upon payment, you will receive a license to use deliverables for your business purposes.

You retain ownership of your existing content, trademarks, and business materials.

6. Confidentiality

Both parties agree to keep confidential any proprietary information shared during the course of the engagement. This includes business strategies, analytics data, and any other sensitive information.

7. No Guarantees

While we strive for the best possible results, SEO results depend on many factors beyond our control, including:

  • Search engine algorithm changes
  • Competitor activities
  • Market conditions
  • Website technical limitations

We do not guarantee specific rankings, traffic levels, or business outcomes.

8. Limitation of Liability

Montreal SEO shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for services in the preceding 12 months.

9. Termination

Either party may terminate services with 30 days written notice. Upon termination:

  • All outstanding invoices become immediately due
  • We will provide a transition of any work in progress
  • Access credentials will be returned or revoked as appropriate

10. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec, Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Montreal, Quebec.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of modified terms.
